WELCOME

Hello,

Welcome to my blog, a cozy corner on the internet where I talk about what it’s like to be a new mom, a partner, and someone who loves and lives differently. I’m here to share my adventures in parenting that doesn’t stick to the usual rules, especially when it comes to gender. I’m part of a queer, polyamorous family, which means we love in a way that includes more than just two people, and we don’t believe that who you are should be limited by old ideas about gender.

I’ve spent a lot of time studying and working with data as a Data Scientist and researcher. This means I love learning and sharing what I find, especially about how to be a great parent in today’s world. My studies and PhD in Education have helped me dig through all the research out there so I can share the good stuff with you.

My partner is transgender and non-binary, which means they don’t fit the typical labels of ‘man’ or ‘woman.’ We’ve been together for more than ten years, learning and growing together. We’ve decided to raise our child without pushing them into being a ‘boy’ or a ‘girl’ until they tell us who they are. We think this is a more free and fair way to grow up.

This blog is my way of inviting you into our world. I believe that sharing our stories and hearing yours can make all of us wiser and kinder.

So, what can you expect here? I’ll share bits of our life, answer your questions, and talk about everything from how to handle tough parenting moments to celebrating the small wins. My background helps me understand parenting theories, but I promise to keep things simple and real.

We’re on this journey together, learning as we go. I want to hear from you, too—your questions, stories, and ideas. Let’s make this a space where we can all feel a little less alone in figuring out how to be the best parents we can be.

Thanks for stopping by our little treehouse. Let’s start this adventure together.
